Join the Van Laar lab!
We are looking for one MS Biology student and talented undergraduate students to work on analysis of genes implicated in antibiotic tolerance of Klebsiella pneumoniae biofilms. If you are interested the position, please email Dr. Van Laar with your CV, unofficial transcripts, and a cover letter indicating how your qualifications and research interests align with the goals of this project. It is not necessary for you to have previous laboratory experience, but graduate students must meet the minimum requirements for Fresno State and must be willing to work at least 20 hours per week in the lab (sometime M-F 9-3) in order to be properly trained and make sufficient progress towards the MS degree. Undergraduate students should be in good standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in science courses.
